About Fosterholm Farms

Located 100 km west of Kingston in Prince Edward County, just outside the entrance to Sandbanks Provincial Park, Fosterholm Farms have been producing high quality Fruits, Vegetables and Maple Syrup products since 1924.

Harold Foster established Fosterholm Farms 100 years ago, but the family’s Prince Edward County roots go much deeper, back to the United Empire Loyalists. Harold’s son Clifford operated the farm with his son Dean up until his passing in June 2024. Today Dean and his son Rylan operate the farm, working more than 1,700 acres of Cash Crops, Fruits and Vegetables as well as 7,500 tree taps that produce some of The County’s finest Maple Syrup.

Fosterholm Farms have provided Fosterholm Pure Maple Syrup products and homegrown Pussy Willows to Kingston residents every Spring at the Kingston Market for over 30 years, with Dean’s brother-in-law Ross operating the Market Stall. In 2009, Fosterholm Farms extended their season as Vendors at Kingston Market from the start of Maple Syrup season in March until the end of Vegetable and Apple seasons in November each year. Fosterholm Farms are most appreciative to all Kingston Market Customers who continually support us weekly, through an entire growing season of our locally grown and freshly picked fruits and vegetables from our family’s farm in Prince Edward County
